getting to know yourself

We are all guilty of it….putting ourselves to the bottom of the priority list, skipping meals, delaying a gym session, depriving ourselves of much needed rest, to name but a few
when was the last time you took some time out to breathe? A little self reflection and care is key to understanding our true selves. If we don’t love and respect ourselves then how can we expect others to do so?
If I passed you a piece of paper and asked you to write down five words that best describe who you are, would you find it easy? What if i gave you a second piece of paper and asked you to write down five words that best describe who you want to be, would it be the same? maybe something for you to think about….
we all have our preferences for how we choose to spend our time out. Mine is with yoga or singing and dancing (like no one is watching), that is if I am not sewing vegetable seeds. maybe yours is under a tree with a good book or a fitness class at your local gym, either way just make sure you take it and don’t forget to breathe
